Embodying the Radical Feminine: Somatic Technologies, Archetypes & The Language of Performance

In this workshop we will develop archetypal somatic templates for facets of the Greater Feminine: Aphrodite, Artemis, Hestia, Demeter and Kali.
We will use embodiment of the elementals (water, earth, air, fire),activation of the chakras, organs & meridians, and
other somatic and shamanic practices
to practice shape-shifting between archetypes.
We will then use these characters/states-of-being/essences to create
improvisational etudes using the Languages of Performance (i.e. spatial architecture, time, dynamics, presence, etc.).

Doors open to warmup at 7:00, and class is from 7:30-10pm.
There is no fee for this workshop,
but participants must commit to the whole session (some allowances possible) and commit to a daily practice of at least 10 minutes on their own.
It is appropriate for performers of any gender or orientation.
